Meet Fahda Romie, Jamaica’s RapStar Who’s Taking Over The Genre

A Jamaican rapper named Fahda Romie has been making the most of his name even in the United Arab Emirates, particularly Dubai.

As the years passed, we as a whole learned about a lot of people who not only demonstrated incredible vigour and drive for what they wished to accomplish in daily life, but also made the necessary efforts to make everything they could possibly want a reality.

The world of music is where consistently new talent is created, but do all of these newcomers get a chance to succeed greatly in the vast and serious music industry, or is that opportunity not given to them all equally? When everything is taken into account, it is safe to say that the people who are sufficiently committed to push boundaries and achieve great things with their musical abilities are the ones that win out.

One such upcoming rapper is Fahda Romie, whose real name is Jerome Downes from Jamaica.

Fahda Romie first entered the Middle Eastern music industry in late 2017, specifically in Dubai, and since then he hasn’t looked back.

However, the trip wasn’t all roses for this young person, and he had to overcome many obstacles and make blunders before moving forward. Fahda Romie began his time in Dubai as a server in a well-known West Indian restaurant, where he worked devotedly and astounded everyone in the area.

Whatever the case, he felt a need to accomplish much more in his daily life and somewhere felt as though he missing something.

At this moment, he began to feel drawn towards writing verses and vocally expressing the same, seeing his true ability.

Karma helped him, and from the few instrumentals a maker had supplied him, he was able to voice on a particular beat. Fahda Romie had his first composition ready in December 2017, but it was not recorded until the middle of 2019.

He began his expedition with the song “Excursion,” but it eventually lost its appeal as more people added their own ideas.

However, he was given the chance to work with an instrumental once more in 2019 after receiving one from Julio, his creator.

He created a 4-and-a-half-minute melodic piece for a comparable instrumental, which he then recorded in his room.

The young rapper, who had previously lost hope due to the underwhelming feedback he had received for his previous track, started regaining confidence when his song “Suggest” received exceptional input even before it was created. This helped the rapper, who had previously lost hope, begin working more seriously.

Fahda Romie currently collaborates with Codelank, a talented artist from Jamaica, and the two have created amazing music across a variety of genres.
