The Kaduna State Government says it has received security reports of kidnapping of pupils and teachers of a school in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
In a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, preliminary reports, showed that the incident occurred at an LEA Primary School located in Rema in the LGA.
According to the statement, the Kaduna State Government is currently obtaining details on the actual number of pupils and teachers reported to have been kidnapped.
It said that as soon as that is done, it will issue a comprehensive statement.
