The Chief Imam of Ekiti, Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere has commended the community spirit of the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters and All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Senator Babafemi Ojudu.

“I am very delighted by this visit. I must confess I have personally taken notice of your works in the community and must tell you that you inherited the spirit of service from your father. I was very close to him in his lifetime and you should also be close to me.
“I know you have political aspirations but as you know I am not a politician but I pray Allay will guide you in all your aspirations. Allah will also give you strength to extend all the good works you have done for our communities and our people to the larger society” he said.
Ojudu thanked the Chief Imam for taking time to received him, saying “It is our culture in Ekiti to help our communities, our brothers and sisters but in doing that we should respect their dignity and not subject people to humiliation because of our status.”
“I detest those who impoverish our people and turn around to celebrate their poverty. We must make Ekiti work in a way to lift people out of poverty and move them to prosperity.” he added.
