Angry Mob Destroys Building As Man Involved Indecent Act Escapes From Health Centre

Pandemonium erupted in Ugbor village in Edo State as angry mob destroyed a building in the community where a sacrilegious act of desecration between two males had reportedly taken place.

The indecent act of same-sex practice between Joseph Okhawere Akhamere, in his early 40’s, and his neighbour’s 25-years-old son( names withheld) was exposed by some
neighbours in the community, it was gathered.

According to an unnamed source who simply identified himself as an elder brother to the 25-years-old male, Joseph Okhawere Akhamere lured his younger brother into the sacrilegious and abominable act adding that luck ran against him and he was eventually caught in the act by some unsuspecting neighbours in his apartment .

The source however further disclosed that the abominable act attracted a mamoth crowd of angry youths from different quarters in the community who violently unleashed terror on Joseph Okhawere Akhamere .

The unconscious Joseph was however rescued by a team of policemen on patrol who fired tear-gas carnisters to disperse the crowd and was immediately taken to an undisclosed health facility within the metropolis for urgent treatment as he was in a critical condition following the mob action.

Meanwhile, confirmed sources according to findings at the health facility in Benin City, however, revealed that the suspect ,who had been receiving treatment for injuries and bruises sustained during the mob attack, escaped as he was nowhere to be found .

The recent development, according to findings in the community, had further plunged the community into pandemonium as angry youths in their numbers went on rampage destroying buildings in the community in order to register their displeasure over the sudden disappearance of Joseph Okhawere Akhamere from the health facility under the watch of security personnel.

The angry youths, who expressed their displeasure, alleged that it was an act of conspiracy between the fleeing suspect and the management of the health facility where he was admitted for urgent treatment to allow him escape from the facility vowing to burn down the health facility for condoning such acts of negligence.

Meanwhile, a statement by the Police in Benin City made available to journalists stated that preliminary investigation into the controversial circumstances which led to the escape of one Joseph Okhawere Akhamere, from an undisclosed health facility in the metropolis after he was rescued from a violent and vicious mob attack on September 10th 2022 had commenced over his involvement in an Indecent act of same-sex practice with a neighbour resulting in the desecration of the community .

The statement further urged members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing Joseph Okhawere Akhamere to report at any nearby police station for a handsome reward as his whereabouts however remain unknown..
