Bank alert fraud: I was framed up – Lizzy Anjorin

Popular Yoruba actress Lizzy Anjorin, has finally spoken out on the bank alert fraud allegations against her after an X-user shared a video of the actress in a popular market on Lagos Island where she was accused of issuing a fake bank alert after purchasing an item.

An X user @BettyStaveley, who shared the story, said the actress was at the market to purchase some fashion accessories when one of the shop owners accused her of visiting his shop last year and using a fake bank alert to purchase goods worth N91,000.

However, the sultry actress has come out to address the issue via a video she posted on her social media page. She alleged that she was set up because there was a plan by some unnamed persons to attack her and set her on fire.

The actress went on to explain that her husband was the one that sent the money to the vendor after she made the purchase and the same vendor confirmed the receipt of the money through a bank alert.

But she was shocked when she visited the market again only to be confronted by same person claiming that he did not receive the initial money.

She got across to her husband and explained the situation at hand and he asked the vendor to send his account details once again. He promised to investigate why the first transfer did not go through and why the vendor didn’t receive the money. Unfortunately, instead of sending his account details, the man suddenly switched off his phone and refused to send his bank details to her husband.
