Not a few people were surprised by the news making the rounds that KD Record’s CEO, Oluwagbenga Oluwafemi Dawodu, popularly known as Kristen Dawodu, is expanding his business interest by floating a blogging platform to be known as Wahalanetwork sometime in 2021.
The news, broken by Dawodu himself on Instagram chat, came about when his followers asked what to expect from him as 2020 will soon end.
Dawodu, without hesitation, had disclosed that the new brainchild from him will soon be on Instagram. “In fact, the website is ready and in the first quarter of 2021, you may look out for wahalanetworkblog.com,” he confirmed.
Ogun State-born Dawodu, an alumnus of Tai Solarin University, where he bagged his first degree in Business Administration, has since he moved to the United States, continued to build his profile as a budding entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Responding to a follower’s question as to why he wanted to go into blogging and not any other popular investment options, he said: “Aside from investments in a few other businesses that are doing well, I also own a record label and I have two artistes in my stable; I’m a businessman, once I see any business that can fetch me money I go into it.
I mean, who doesn’t want to make lots of money?”
According to the US-based entrepreneur, he has finalised plans for his new blog due to take off in 2021.
“Wahalanetwork will bring to Nigerians anywhere in the world exclusive videos and photos of funny, educative and entertaining news that will help make their day,” he declared.
Speaking further, he also disclosed during the chat that he will equally utilise the platform’s Instagram page for giveaway sessions at weekends. “Only Tunde Ednut is doing that presently, but Wahalanetwork is going to incorporate that on its Instagram because philanthropy is an integral part of my business philosophy,” he said.
