Nigerian Society of Engineers confers Fellowship on Nestoil chairman

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has conferred honorary Fellowship on Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, Executive Chairman, Nestoil Limited at the 2017 edition of its Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting held in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Conferring the Fellowship, Engr. Otis Oliver Anyaeji, President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers said that “the society is honouring Dr. Azudialu-Obiejesi with its Fellowship for his outstanding contributions to the engineering profession in Nigeria and accomplishments as a player in related sector.”

“Specifically, Azudialu-Obiejesi’s enterprise and investment in the oil and gas sector have served as major catalysts for capacity building and innovation in Nigeria.

Through his companies, he has provided platforms for engineers to demonstrate the value of our profession to the society via their competence”.

Azudialu-Obiejesi, in response to the president, expressed gratitude for the recognition and gave assurance of his continued support to the development of engineering profession in Nigeria.

According to him, “I am exceedingly grateful to council members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers for this recognition. It fills me with a sense of accomplishment.”

A graduate of University of Benin and an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, Dr. Azudialu-Obiejesi is the Chairman of Obijackson Group, one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s fastest growing conglomerates.
