Unity Bank prunes Board members

Unity Bank Plc has announced changes to its board, following an emergency meeting held on June 6, 2017.

According to the bank, the exit of five non-executive directors from the board were approved at the emergency meeting thereby reducing the size of the board from 13 to 8

The Bank’s Company Secretary, Mohammed Shehu, however, said the remaining members as, Thomas Etuh- Chairman, and Aminu Babangida as Vice Chairman.

Oluwafunsho Obasanjo was named as a Non-Executive Director, Yabawa Lawan Wabi also a Non-Executive Director, and Sam N. Okagbue- Non-Executive Director.

Tomi Somefun remained the bank’s Managing Director/CEO, while Aisha A. Abraham and Temisan Tuedor remain as Executive Directors.
