Three suspected cultist gang rape 15 year old girl in Lagos

Three suspected cultists who had allegedly gang raped a 15 year old girl, Uloma Okafor have been arrested by operatives of the Ilemba-Hausa Division Ajangbadi, Lagos State Police Command.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects identified as Ibeji Chukwu, Caleb Isaac and Paul Ehimika had blindfolded with a red scarf and took turns to rape her in their room at No. 52 Jagua Street Itakete Imude in Ajangbadi.
The State Commissioner of Police who briefed journalists on the incident said the suspects denied being cultists but confessed raping the teenager.
He further said, ” meanwhile during execution of a search warrant in their abode, one cutlass and one red scarf with which they blindfolded the girl was recovered in their room.”
Edgal said the suspects will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.
In another development, the Commissioner of Police stated that two armed robbery suspects have also been arrested and a car recovered by men of the command.
According to Edgal, on May 31, 2018, operatives of Raider attached to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Yaba intercepted Emeka Eze and Okwudili Emmanuel along ECOWAS route on Lagos/Badagry Expressway in Lagos.
” They were arrested while they were about to sell off one Honda Accord Saloon Car with Reg No. LND 192 CA 1994 model, colour grey. When the car was searched, one CAC ID card bearing Akinkunmi Olutunbi with GSM No. 08025770333 was found inside the car.
The owner was contacted via the GSM number, the receiver identified himself as the owner of the car and that it was snatched from him at gunpoint on May 25, 2018 along 3rd Mainland Bridge inward Makoko, Yaba,” he said.
Edgal noted that upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have snatched the car and other vehicles. Meanwhile, investigation is ongoing to recover other stolen vehicles.
