There is no ADC in Adamawa State, says Gov Jibrilla

Governor Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla Bindo of Adamawa state sounding confident said the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and any other political parties are not to be reckoned with in the gubernatorial polls coming up in March. Governor Jibrilla considers ADC to be nonexistence in Yola while addressing group of journalists during a campaign tour of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mayobelwa LGA of the state. According to him, President Muhammadu Buhari has done much to the people of the area and his administration has also done much in infrastructures that warrant APC to be a party to beat. Umaru Jibrilla said owing to the fact that Mayobelwa is a LGA of origin to the former Governor of the State, Murtala Nyako who is fielding his Son Abdulaziz in the ADC party to replace him being the sitting Governor who holds the governorship flag of APC. He revealed that the crowd seen on the Wednesday campaign tour tells much of the APC popularity and ability to defeat any party in the state. He disputed the claims of many that Mayobelwa is not a strong base of ADC but a hub of APC to consolidate thousands of people votes for the ruling party. “As you can see they gathered today to show their total support of APC government assuring us of consolidate votes.” Bindo said. Mayobelwa is a place many believe to be strong hold of ADC but is being taken over by APC because Bindo. The electorates, through the party chairman of the LGA, Babangida Talasai said their votes are for Governor Bindo and all APC candidates in the area.
