Taraba APGA lawmaker distributes MTN Solar Boosters to constituent

Taraba State lawmaker, Hon. Anas Shuaibu Didango of Karim Lamido Local Government Area of the state has distributed and installed about Twelve MTN Solar Boosters in 12 communities under his constituency.
Shuaibu, Daily Times gathered, is a member of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) who represents the people of Karim II Constituency at the State House of Assembly in Jalingo.
The lawmaker told our Correspondent in an exclusive interview that the gesture was part of his Campaign promises made to the people while seeking for their Votes before the 2023 State Assembly Elections.
Represented by Abdullahi Ibrahim Pitiko, Shuaibu emphasized that the benefiting Communities were cut off from Communication Network hence the need to pledge providing them with facilities to ease and enhance Communication services in those areas.
“I was in these Communities during the period of my Campaigns, it was difficult to make or receive calls due to lack of network providers. I pledged to do something in that regard and we are here today with MTN Solar Boosters to redeem my Pledge”.

“The MTN Boosters donated would be installed in 12 Communities of Turban Shanu, Gomben Dela, Bambu, Garu, Gendeji, Kuka, Kundi, Shemuyel, Usmanu, Wuro Laccha, Piribi, Gangan Balasa”, he said.
He further disclosed that the Villages or Communities fall under Karim II Constituency of Karim Lamido Local Government Area of the State.
Shuaibu, who said though a lawmaker, pledged his resolve and determination of rendering selfless services with a view to providing democracy dividends to the people at the grassroot adding that the gesture was the first Phase.
Hon. Shuaibu’s representative also revealed that the Donor has awarded Scholarship to about 50 youths presently studying at the Taraba State University (TSU) in Jalingo the State capital.
Speaking in an interview with our Correspondent, the Village Head of Gangan Balasa, Alh. Yusuf Chiroma lauded the Lawmaker, describing his gesture as the first of its kind since the creation of Karim Lamido Local Government Area of the State.
He said no indigent Politician from the Local Government has thought of remembering their local Communities not to think of providing them with dividends of democracy to better their lives or help soften the sufferings they are passing through.
“They only come when they need us and after that, you will not see them again. My prayer is that Allah will bless our Son, Anas Shuaibu for remembering us”, said Alh. Chiroma.
