Student dies in renewed cult activities in AAU

Cultism and its related activities have resurfaced in the Edo State owned Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma following the assault and killing of one Imeokparia Sunday.
Sunday, until his death was a student of the University where he had an issue with his course mate over the opposite sex.
The misunderstanding between Sunday and the course mate degenerated to a level where some Black Axe secret cult members threatened to take the life of Sunday.
This development, it was gathered, led Sunday to go into hiding for some time, due to fear of the unknown.
A few days later, Sunday was said to have resurfaced and was later attacked and stabbed to death in Unique Bar and Restaurant inside the University town of Ekpoma, with a threat to launch attacks and eliminate every member of that family.
Since then, while many members of the family were said to have relocated outside Uromi in the Esan East local government area, the whereabouts of Imeokparia Thomas Timothy, Sunday’s brother was said to be unknown as at press time.
When newsmen visited the family’s house in Uromi, there was no visible sign of anyone residing in the house. Efforts to reach Thomas Timothy were unsuccessful as he was said to have relocated out of the country
However, the Police authorities are yet to make a statement on the matter.
