Save Army Day Secondary School From Vandal – Alumni Begs Delta Govt.

Alumni of Army day secondary school, David Ejoh barracks at Effurun in Delta state have appealed to Delta state government and security agencies within Efurun metropolis to save the school from the hands of vandals who are on daily basis pulling off roofs and doors to sell to outsiders.
The alumni who said lamented that the school which hosted respected personalities within and outside Delta state, said that if urgent attention is not put in place to salvage the present situation of the school, the once reputable citadel of learning will be completely destroyed.
On behalf of the alumni of the school which breed great men who are in one respective position or the other in the country, Mr. Igho Oyoyo is appealing on the government of Delta state and law enforcement agancies within the Efurun metropolis to ensure that the structures of the school is not left at the mercy of hoodlums and hooligans.
They described the state of the school which used to be one of the best at Efurun district as completely vandalized and has become a shadow of itself, that there is the need for the government and law enforcement agencies to put an end to the menance, before the school is completely removed from existence.
“The government should assist the staff and pupils in renovating the school and the security agencies should protect the school against vandals and ensure that it is given opportunity to breed more respected citizens of Nigeria in future.
“The buildings in this pictures is Army Day Secondary School at David Ejoh Barracks, Effurun in Delta State, eye witnesses which we spoke with said that the roofs of the buildings are being removed by those they described as hooligans and they sell them to outsiders at the detriment of the students. This is bad and it should be discouraged,” he said.
