Nollywood stars grace the private screening of ‘My Fairytale Wedding’

Africa Magic, in a private screening of its limited series ‘My Fairytale Wedding,’ introduced its guests to a relatable romantic comedy story led by Nollywood A-listers Ramsey Nouah and Ini Edo, the latter who doubles as an executive producer on the series.

The exclusive event which was held at The Hall, V.I., Lagos, saw the star-studded cast alongside Nollywood’s best talents take over the screening with varied reactions, which point to the mastery of the show and the strength in its storytelling.

Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content & Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice, told the media at the private screening that the film is in line with Africa Magic’s mission to continuously tell relatable stories.

“It’s been a year of weddings and I’m particularly excited to announce the next big union to look forward to. My Fairytale Wedding offers a glimpse into a tale of love with a sprinkle of magic, but not in the way you expect. With an amazing cast, this is a show you cannot afford to miss.” she said.

Guests at the private screening were treated to an immersive experience with attendees getting the opportunity to watch a compendium of the four episodes which led to a rousing applause from those present.

The TV series set to premiere on Africa Magic on October 20, tells the tale of a young lady who with the help of magic (Kayanmata) bags the most eligible bachelor in Lagos, now she’s set to plan the wedding of the decade. Can failsafe magic guarantee her true love? We are about to find out.

Directed by Dimeji Ajibola, My Fairytale Wedding tells the story of a young lady who, with the help of magic (Kayanmata), bags the most eligible bachelor in Lagos. Can this guarantee her true love? Find out as the show enlists Nollywood’s biggest acts like Kanayo O. Kanayo, Shaffy Bello, Ayo Mogaji, Tina Mba, Lilian Esoro. Other cast include Ramsey Nouah, Shaffy Bello, Carolyna Hutchings, Tina Mba, Daniel Etim-Effiong and many more.

My Fairytale Wedding was directed by Dimeji Ajibola and executively produced by Chineye ‘ChiChi’ Nworah, Ini Edo, Carolyna Hutchings, Abiye Alamina and Waka Credit Limited.

Ini Edo had a couple of weeks ago pulled a PR stunt about her Fairly Tale Wedding with an unnamed lover which got a lot of her fans and even colleagues congratulating her, only for the people to get to find out that it was stunt meant to create awareness about the movie.

My Fairytale Wedding is set to premiere on Africa Magic Showcase on (DStv Ch. 151, GOtv. Ch. 8.) on October 20, 2024, by 8 pm.
