Melissa ‘ Mel G’ Gonzalez To Perform At AFRO MUSIC FEST

Melissa ‘ Mel G’ Gonzalez has announced she has been listed as one of the supporting acts performing at AFRO MUSIC FEST when it makes a return later this year.
Afro Music Festival, is a celebration of different music, and cultures within the African Diaspora. The concert celebrates the African peoples and cultural heritage through Arts, Fashion & Music.
The event is one of the signature events in the diaspora produced/hosted by Amplify Africa that showcases the diverse genres of music within and around Africa as well as other global communities.
It is one of the festivals used to bridge the gap between the continent and the Black global experience, which includes African-American, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latino and Afro-European communities.
The festival has been held annually since 2016 with the sole aim of promoting music from all peoples of black origin while extolling their cultural heritage.
“Due to covid 19 a lot of events had to be put off or postponed, but the world is gradually getting back normal and businesses are opening back up and AFRO MUSC FESTIVAL is one of the events making a return this” She said, and I am glad to be chosen as one of the supporting performers for this year’s event.
“It will be my first gig ever and I feel privileged that it will to on this massive platform”, Mel said.
Mel G who is working on releasing her debut work out album says “My objective is to use this festival to create awareness for my music and as a spring board to finally launch my musical career and also increase my fan base”.
She also expressed her joy at having made the list of performers and promised to give her fans a performance to be proud of.
