May Day: JUSUN Chairman commends members, Chief Judge of FHC for support

The Chairman, Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Federal High Court Abuja Chapter, Comrade Samuel Ikpatt has commended members of the Union for their mass turn out and exemplary conduct during the May Day Celebration at Eagle Square Abuja on Thursday.

Comrade Ikpatt made the commendations at Honourable Justice Rose Ukeje Hall Federal High Court Abuja where executives entertained members who participated in the May Day celebration.

Addressing the participants, Comrade Ikpatt reminded them of the importance of 1st of May. “This day the 1st of May is considered very important to us because its reminds us of your aged long sacrifice, strength, resilience and dedication to duty. ”

“Your contributions to nation building is unparalleled despite unfair wages, unconducive work environment etc, but in all you still stand strong and your spirit undamped.

“As a responsible union, we will continue to support our management while still advocating better funding for the judiciary.

“We are indeed appreciative of management commitment to our collective welfare. They have remained our support system despite limited funding, we are grateful to the Hon.chief judge.

“I implore you to continue to work to uplift the image of this court without compromise at all times as our reward is now and not thereafter,” he stated.
