Lawmaker hails youths over victory of Buhari, NASS candidates

The Director, Youths and Students Directorate for Pepperito Campaign Organisation, Mr Olusegun Olulade, has commended youths and students in Lagos East Senatorial District for their contribution to the victory of candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Feb. 23 elections. It was reported that “Pepperito” is the popular slogan for Mr Bayo Osinowo, the Senator-Elect for Lagos East Senatorial District. Olulade (APC-Epe II) at the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed his delight at the way the youth under the Lagos East Senatorial District delivered victory for the APC Presidential and NASS candidates. According to him, the youth were able to campaign vigorously for the five House of Representatives candidates and their Senatorial candidate, Mr Bayo Osinowo, and ensure their electoral victories. “With the outcome of Saturday’s election  especially that of the National Assembly, the youth in Lagos East Senatorial District have shown that they can deliver any day anytime. “I must confess that the way these youth came out to campaign and mobilise their people was overwhelming. “The efforts they put in campaigning for all our House of Representatives candidates in Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ikorodu, Kosofe and Shomolu Federal Constituencies and Hon. Bayo Osinowo, our Senatorial candidate, did not go in vain. “I am using this medium to appreciate all the youth in Lagos East Senatorial District for electing all the APC candidates for the National Assembly positions,” Olulade said in a statement on Tuesday. The lawmaker, however, implored the youth to complete the task ahead of them by electing the APC governorship candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu and all the House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections on March 9. “I have absolute faith in you all and I believe you will complete the task you have started by electing Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, our governorship candidate, and all our House of Assembly members in Lagos East,” he said.
