INSTITUTE TO TRAIN MILITARY AND CIVILIANS IN AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY

The Senate has passed into law the Air Force Institute of Technology Bill 2016. The Bill sponsored by Senator Duro Faseyi representing Ekiti North Senatorial district has 21 clauses. The Bill is expected to churn out well trained personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, other armed services and civilians.

The Institute which is expected to have technical cooperation from countries and other like mind institutes is expected to help Nigeria save and earn foreign exchange for the country.

One of the clauses has the President and Commander in Chief as the visitor to the Air Force Institute of Technology and it will be degree awarding institution.
