The Speaker of the Adamawa House of Assembly , Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has confirmed to this medium that the Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Fintiri has presented a letter informing them to go on vacation for two weeks.
Wesley said in the letter Governor Ahmadu has told the honorable house to have transmitted power to his Deputy, Prof Keleptawa Farauta.

He said the Governor is expected to return to state in two weeks.
Fintiri since the inception his second tenure Daily Times can report that this is first time he transmitted power to his deputy.
Pundits consider the Governor’s action a good one ensuring the tenets and democratic norms are sustained.
