Fuel crisis may mar Xmas festivity

The fuel crisis being experienced in Lagos and elsewhere across the country, may mar the festive mood of this Christmas season, as motorists spend long hours at the fuel stations just to buy premium motor spirit( PMS).

Business activities would adversely be affected as it will become increasingly challenging to move around in Lagos during this period.

Cross- section of Lagosians say marketers should be held responsible for untold woes Nigerians are going through due to this current crisis, as most of their actions worsen the situation.

The petrol attendants prefer to sell to buyers with gallons who part with N100-N200 rather than selling to motorists with their vehicles, leaving them to wait long hours on queue.

A motorists, who could not bear the situation told Daily Times that he came to Majok petrol station at Alasia close to Oshodi since morning but he was yet to buy the products just because he queued with his vehicle.
