Ese Oruru’s abductor, Dahiru sentenced to 26 years imprisonment
The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has sentenced Ese Oruru’s abductor to 26 years in prison
Ese Oruru a teenager was in 2016 abducted and forced into marriage in Kano by one Yinusa Dahiru
On Thursday, Justice Jane Inyang sentenced Dahiru to 26 years in prison.
Jane acquitted Dahiru on Count one but jailed him five years (count two), seven years (count three) seven years (count four) and seven years, count five.

The sentences, according to the judge. will run concurrently.
