Clergy urges Nigerians to pray for country
Nigerians have again been charged to continue to pray for the Nation to record breakthrough, success and peace in the New Year.
The Spiritual Father and Head Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Worldwide, His Grace Most Reverend Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye in his new year message to the Nation charged Nigerians to be calm, humane, firm, resolute and decisive in the year.
In the message tagged “year of kingdom exploit” Prophet Abidoye noted that the year 2018 would be a very fruitful year where a lot of people would reach their stardom while a lot of celebrities and politicians would be heard no more.
The Spiritual Father explained that crossing over to the new year was not by our power, goodwill, ability or technical knowhow but the will and benevolent of God.
He called on Nigerians to support the government of the day especially in its war against insurgency and the persistent fight against corruption.
Prophet Abidoye challenged the government to be masses oriented and work more on improving the quality of education that is going down.
The Spiritual Father also called on government to raise the standard of Technical Schools and create more skill acquisition and training centres that would produce employers of labour rather than job seekers.
The Cleric urged the political class to be politically and spiritually matured and not to engage in politics of bloodshed this political year.
