Citi calls for CJEA entries to beat January 26 deadline

Citi Bank Nigeria has called on business journalists to submit entries for the 2018 edition of the Citi Journalist Excellence Award (CJEA) as the January 26, 2018 entries submission deadline closes in.

CJEA, in a recent release made available to Daily Times, the award organizers called on journalists who want to write their ways to an opportunity to excel that comes once in a lifetime, to forward their entries based on finance or business stories, before the deadline expires next week Thursday.

“We’re accepting entries from finance or business journalists working in print, wire or electronic media in Nigeria to determine who will join CJEA winners worldwide at our 8-day Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism seminar in New York”

‘We expect top candidate entries, so be sure your talent in Nigeria is in the running to join another remarkable crop of global CJEA winners this year in New York.

CJEA recalled that the Citi Journalistic Excellence Award has helped exceptional journalists go on to be even better in markets worldwide for 30+ years. This year the chance to capture that standard of excellence for a talented journalist in Nigeria is back.

‘If you’re that journalist (or the editor of a journalist) whose flair for thinking, research and precipitating discussion is ready to go up a level, it’s time to make the jump.
