c has announced the resignation of its director, Mr. Mr. George Papachristou as a director of the company with effect from October 31, 2017.

Deputy Company Secretary, Mrs. Bola Adebisi, in a statement, said that the Papachristou served the company for a period of five years seven months. “Mr. Papachristou was our director from March 2, 2012, till October 31, 2017” Adebisi said.

Meanwhile, Unity Kapital Assurance Plc has announced the appointment of new executive director, operations, Mr. Oyinlande Olalekan Abraham.

The appointment, the company revealed, followed the resignation of the Mr. Babatunde Shadiya from the services of the company on the expiration of his two years contract with the company.

Company Secretary, Halima Wushishi, disclosed in a publication by the NSSE, that Olalekan, a graduate of University of Lagos has and Lagos Business School, processes over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry; and has a very strong command of direct and treaty reinsurance underwriting , commercial claims handling and extensive client and broker relations.

Prior to joining Unity Kapital Assurance, Olalekan served in the various senior and executive capacities with Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc, Mansard Assurance Plc and Axa Mansard Insurance Plc.
