Bauchi 2019: PDP guber candidate gets Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s endorsement

A renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has endorsed the governorship candidature of former FCT minister, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad. The endorsement of Senator Bala Mohammed who is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate by the revered Islamic figure in Nigeria is coming barely few weeks to 2019 general elections. Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi who is the leader of ‘Tijjaniya’ Islamic sect in Africa made the endorsement recently when the governorship candidate paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Bauchi. The Sheik who noted that none of the state politicians was so kind to him like the former FCT minister said, “Politician can only be beneficial to you in this world. He can’t help you in the hereafter, if people are in need, they look up to government to provide them with their needs, as such they should elect those who will improve the well-being of the people. That is what is called politics”. “We pray May Allah see you through. Kaura May Allah grant you victory. May you emerge peacefully as governor of Bauchi state “. He prayed. The Islamic preacher also prayed Allah to rid the nation of its problems and bring lasting peace to it.
