APC is determined to take over governance of Delta from Okowa in 2019 – Ojougboh

Ahead of the 2019 general election, a governorship hopeful in Delta State, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, has promised to work with any gubernatorial candidate that emerges at the Delta APC Primaries, just as he declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will defeat incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at his home town come 2019.

Ojougboh who spoke to an online news site while consulting with leaders of APC Delta South Senatorial District, and soliciting for their supports at the forthcoming APC gubernatorial primary in order for him to emerge candidate to stop Governor Okowa’s second term, also unveiled One Man One Vote campaign in the district, including the riverine areas to enable votes of the electorates count.

Ojougboh said; “I have come to seriously solicit for your supports at the governorship primary coming up soon; because we are all seriously working for victory. So after the primaries, we all will make sacrifices for our party.

APC will defeat Okowa in his local a government area like I defeated him in previous elections. We ask for one man one vote even in the riverine areas because Delta State must win in a large margin so we can be more relevant at the federal level.

“My presence here is not because of my personal ambition but anything that we have to do to make APC win the governorship race in Delta State come 2019”.

Dr. Ojougboh further said; “If I am not given the ticket, I will work to make sure the candidate that emerges at the primary wins. So it is how we can reposition our great party in Delta State that is my most concern.”
