APC Congress: Gov. Bindow commends Adamawa APC for peaceful conduct
Gov. Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa has commended members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa for their peaceful conduct of the ward Congresses.
Bindow gave the commendation while inspecting the construction of Song township bridge in Song local government area in Adamawa.
Recalls that the Song township bridge was awarded to Messrs. Triacta Nigeria Ltd at the cost of N500 million for the period of seven months.
He also urged the members to maintain peace during the subsequent Congresses.
He eulogised the people of the state and urged them to eschew politics with bitterness for the state to move forward.
He also said that the intra political squabbles experienced in the past had been put behind and urged members of the party in their various constituencies to emulate such gesture.
Bindow announced to the people of Song that the project which had attained 90 per cent completion would be inaugurated in five days’ time.
He called on the people to support the administration to achieve the transformation of the state.
APC held its ward Congress on Sunday May 6 and the Congress was rancour free and all results announced in all the 226 council wards in the state.
