Anambra Guber Election: Ifeanyi Ubah emerges YPP flag bearer

Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, was announced as the Young Progressives Party’s candidate for the next governorship election in Anambra State on Thursday.

Ubah, who was cleared by the YPP national leadership in Abuja, assuaged Nigerians’ fears that the South-East problem will disrupt the upcoming election in November.

Ubah said that the current insecurity in the region would have no bearing on the election results, and that his party would win.

In addition, contrary to rumors in some quarters, the Senator stated that his party was not behind the crises engulfing the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the state.
