Adamawa APC chair to tour 21 LGs
The Adamawa State All Progressives Party (APC) Chairman Hon. Ibrahim Bilal said the party would soon tour the 21 LGAs in the state to authentic its officials and members.
Bilal said this to our correspondent in Yola and reiterated that was necessary because so many officials and members of the party had decamped to other parties while others had left the party for reasons of appointments and others for reasons best known to them.
“As our President is working tirelessly to bring sanity in all sector of the country’s economy so also are we at the level of our party we want to clean up the party in the state right from the grassroots to ensure sanity of party members,” Bilal said.
“We want to take proper records of our party membership and to make sure that the party is free from all unwanted elements that can jeopardise the progress of the party in the state and the country at large,” he added
Bilal who is spearheading the affairs of the party on acting capacity refuted any factional case, and recounted that all that led to his emergence and other party officials was done within the party constitution.
