Egwuekwe dedicates first Euro goal to wife
Nigeria defender Azubuike Egwuekwe has revealed that his first goal in Europe is dedicated to his wife Isioma for her encouragement.
The Jos-born towering defender scored for Finnish club KuPS in a 3-0 win over MP in a cup game on his debut.
“I am happy for my goal in my first official game in Europe,” he said.
“The goal is dedicated to my lovely wife who encouraged me to join the club and told me I won’t regret it.”
