Ehite ‘Bella’ Asfaw a.k.a BELLA is a Singer, Poet, Spoken word artist, social activist & Philanthropist. She is also founder and owner of online business platform ClassyByBella.

She was born on February 28th 1986 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and raised in Nairobi, Kenya.

She studied Theater arts in college and graduated after 2 years.

Shortly after college she relocated to America in pursuit of greener pastures.

“It wasn’t easy being a single woman in a foreign country, a lot of people especially men would try to take advantage of your vulnerabilities” Bella said.

But my biggest inspiration, was watching artistes like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Eddie Murphy on television.

“I remember watching in awe, and realizing that was exactly what i wanted to do” Ehite said.

Bella said it takes a lot of faith and courage to start anything or set out on your own, whether in life or business.

She said that asides her passion for the arts it is always fulfilling hearing people tell you how much you inspire them or how much they love your work.

Her advice for emerging female artists and entrepreneurs is; “Always be inspiring enough to motivate others to follow your path, but be yourself.

What makes art great is the ability to create and make something out of nothing. To take what has always been there and do with it what nobody has ever done before”.

Bella went further to say that her greatest fear in life is being afraid to live and limit myself by letting fear limit me”.

So always make sure you maintain your uniqueness so that everything you create will be outstanding.
