The Court of Appeal in Abuja has deferred hearing on the appeal by the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, filed to challenge the High Court order that hitherto suspended him from office.
The appellate court had after it issued an interim injunction that stayed the execution of the high court order last Monday, okayed the matter for hearing.

However, though hearing notices were issued to all the parties to appear for the hearing, a clerk of the appellate court, on Friday, notified lawyers that came for the matter that the scheduled proceeding would no longer hold.
The clerk said a new hearing date would be communicated to the parties
