Man in court for allegedly stealing okada
The Police in Osun has arraigned one Adegoke Isiaka, 28, before Modakeke Magistrate’s Court, on Wednesday, over alleged stealing motorcycle.
The Prosecutor, Sgt Ona Glory, told the court that the accused sometimes in May. 2015 around 12 pm at Ajape Area, Modakeke n Ife North East LG Area of Osun.
Glory said that the accused stole one Bajaj Boxer motorcycle with Reg No:SGM 413 QB; Chasis No: MF2DDMZZWWL06965 and Eng No:DUMBUL62699 total value N195, 000, property of one Asimiyu Sanusi.
He added that the offence was contrary to section 383 and punishable under section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol 11,Laws of Osun,2003.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the offence levelled against him.
The Defence Counsel,Mr Abiodun Akindipe, applied for the bail of the accused in most Libra term, pledged that the accused would not jump bail, but would produce reliable suretiures
Magistrate Bose Awosan granted the bail of the accused in the sum of N70, 000, with one surety in like sum.
Awosan added that the surety must swear to affidavit of means, resides within the court jurisdiction as well as produce two recent passport photographs.
She adjourned the case till Jan 1 2017, for hearing.
