Kano APC crisis: Kwankwaso, Jibril may lose 2019 tickets

Factional chairman of All Progressives Congress in Kano state, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, has declared weekend that senators and House of Assembly members from Kano state who do not belong to Ganduje led faction will lose ticket to seek reelection in 2019.

Addressing council, party chairmen and elders from Sumaila, Tarauni, Rogo and other local governments in the state who paid him courtesy visit weekend to congratulate him and his formal recognition by the headquarters as the authentic Kano party chairman Abbas made it clear that those belonging to kwankwasiyya and other pressure group in the state will be shut out of APC primaries in 2019.

Abbas who served under former Governor Kwankwaso as Commissioner of Environment but later pitched his political tent with incumbent Governor Abdullahi Ganduje also revealed that Honourable Kawu Sumaila now special adviser to president Buhari on House of Representatives will be given back his ticket to go back to Abuja to replace whoever is now representing his federal constituency because he Kawu belongs to Ganduje led faction.

The re-election ticket to Kwankwaso and other pressure declaration by Abdullahi Abbas who is also the present adviser to Governor Ganduje is coming at a time when even the governor placed full page coloured adverts in some national dalies recently to facilitate with his former boss Senator Kwankwaso who clocked 60 years recently.

In the paid advert Governor Ganduje described former Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso who was his political mentor for over 20 years as noble resilient Senator and leader in his own right and prayed to almighty Allah to grant him long life and wisdom to continue to serve Kano state and Nigeria as a whole..

Recently national headquarters of APC in Abuja sent a four man delegation to Kano under Senator Mohammed Magoro to Kano to find out why the former chairman Dr.Haruna Umar Doguwa was suspended but up till now the findings of the Magoro committee is yet to be implemented, meanwhile both Doguwa and Abbas are operating outside the secretariat of APC in Kano State.

Some National Assembly members In Abuja from Kano which include Honourable Abdulmimini Jibril are still loyal to Senator Kwankwaso now the senator representing Kano Central.
