Zamfara CP visits Kaura Namoda ahead of August 16th bye-election

In preparation for the forthcoming bye-election at kaura namoda South state assembly election, the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, psc+, paid a crucial security assessment visit to Kaura Namoda Local Government Area on 12 august, 2025.

During the visit, the Commissioner of police held a critical meeting with all sister security agencies and community stakeholders of the area to deliberate on the prevailing security challenges and way forward in ensuring the smooth conduct of the bye election where he reaffirmed the Command’s total commitment to restoring and sustaining peace not only in Kaura Namoda but across Zamfara State.

CP Maikaba assured residents of the Command’s readiness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the bye-election. He also called for the continued support and cooperation of community leaders and residents in the fight against all forms of criminality.

The Zamfara State Police Command remains resolute in its efforts to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all citizens.
