Yoruba community holds inter denominational prayers for PMB, others.

The Yoruba Community Council in Niger state capital, Minna at the weekend held an inter denominational prayers for the quick recovery from the illness of President Muhammadu Buhari and for the peace of the country.

The Niger state president general of the tribal organization, Alhaji Rasheed Olawole Sanusi, in an interview with journalists after the joint faithful prayers said that the prayer became necessary due to the continuous illness of the President who have shown a clear indication to rid the country out of corruption and lost glory.

Sanusi hinted that is one among many equals with better reputation to get the nation out of the past mess hence had taken the rightful steps towards that deserved he prayers of Nigerians and encouragement from all.

He further charged that Yoruba race should remain one anywhere they find themselves especially in the northern Nigeria just as they are known for peaceful coexistence belonging to one indivisible entity.

The prayers which was held by both Christians and Muslims at same venue along Kuta road with recitation of various chapters of the Holy Quran and Bible was deliberately done to ensure peace and prosperity of the Niger state and the nation, urging God to give the present and Governor Abubakar Sani Bello the good health to lead the country to the next level of development.
