Watch out for Igbinoba & Bashir, Aliyu warns Enyimba

The People’s Elephant’s defensive midfielder has said his team mates must watch out for the Solid Miners’ duo if they are to go past them in Saturday’s Federation Cup semi final
Enyimba midfielder Abdulrazak Aliyu has told his teammates to keep an eye on Nasarawa United’s Esosa Igbinoba and Abdulrahman Bashir if they are to make it to the final of the 2016 Federation Cup after Saturday’s encounter in Ibadan.
Aliyu joined Enyimba from FC Taraba in 2012 told Goal that the Aba giants’ players will put in everything to make it to the final of the competition and that they are ready to put all the Solid Miners’ players including their top stars at bay to ensure that they realize their remaining season’s objective.
Aliyu told Goal: “ We know what we must do to qualify for the final and we won’t hesitate to do so at the right time. We know Nasarawa United very well and we know their players too. Esosa Igbinoba and Bashir who once played for us are important members of the team and we must do everything possib;e to stop them. We cannot afford to fail our fans and the sports loving governor, Okezie Ikpeazu for his support to the team.
“Like everyone knows, we did not get a good position in the League and in the Champions League we did not do very well also, so this is our remaining opportunity to go back to the Continent. Enyimba plays in the Continent every year so we have to put in everything to make sure we get to the final.”

The Lekan Salami stadium in Ibadan will host the second semi final on Saturday with the winner facing FC IfeanyiUbah who booked the first final spot under controversial circumstances against Crown FC and the final is billed for Lagos at a yet to be fixed date.
