Wabba tasks TIUC on workers’ welfare

President of the Nigeria Labour congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba,

has called on the international Trade Union (ITU) congress comprising of 333

nationalities to rise up in defense of its members.

He said this would ensure appropriate protection of the world workforce.

Wabba, gave this task, on Monday, while welcoming members of the union

from different countries in this year’s conference which Nigeria is hosting.

According to him,  his leadership is delighted to host the dynamic, dogged and ever committed General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) that represents 180 million workers in 162 countries and territories, with 333 national affiliates of which Nigeria Labour Congress is one of such, Sharan Burrow who is visiting Nigeria for the first time.
