The Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, says the cost of depriving women and girls their rights and opportunities is huge, and borne not by them alone, but by all. Tallen made the assertions at the Bank of Industry (BoI)’s International Women’s Day Celebration on Thursday in Lagos.
The Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Pauline Tallen, has urged Nigerians to love, tolerate and live peacefully with one another. Tallen made the call on Thursday in Abuja, at the 5th International Conference on Love and Tolerance: tagged “Countering Violent Extremism for Peaceful Coexistence” organised by UFUK Dialogue, a Non-Governmental Organisation.
Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai has disclosed that the Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, has never supported Nigeria’s President Buhari. The governor said this while granting an audience with the State House correspondents on Friday in Abuja after he visited Buhari. Reacting to comments by Alhassan, showing disloyalty to President Buhari, El-Rufai said
