Suspected cultists unleash terror on family, kill one, others Injured
The protracted crisis between Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion and his father-in-law has claimed its first casualty with many others injured during a violent attack brazenly orchestrated by suspected cultists on June 15th 2022.
It will be recalled that Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion had been seriously entangled in a long running battle with his father-in-law over his outright rejection of family plans by his father-in-law to have his wife sent abroad for prostitution .
However, mounting pressure from his father-in-law, it was understood, resulted in the deployment of thugs in their numbers to house no.2 Oboh lane off old Irrua road Idumu-Agbala Egbele Uromi, where Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion was living with wife and children as all hell was let loose.
According to an eye-witness account who craved anonymity, the thugs unleashed terror on the entire family as they attempted to forcefully take with them Ehizofua Favour Egbedion, wife of Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion who was violently beaten up with injuries.
As family members in their numbers attempted to resist the violent terror, Jude Egbedion, an elder brother to the embattled man, was shot dead instantly as others around including Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion sustained varying degrees of injuries during the violent bloody attack, the eyewitness added.
It was said that as family members scampered for safety in order to escape the unfolding terror in the community, Jude Egbedion’s corpse was immediately set ablaze by the rampaging cultists .
Meanwhile, Ehizofua Favour Egbedion was said to have been hospitalized at an undisclosed medical center for urgent medical treatment for 5 days before she was eventually given a clean bill of health.
Following the mounting pressure from the father-in-law who is understood to be very influential and a grand-patron of one of the most dangerous occultic group in the community, there are strong indications that Ebosetale Lucky Egbedion and members of his immediate family, whose whereabouts however remain unknown to anyone in the community, have fled from the community.

Confirmed report in the community also revealed that the troubled family of the father-in-law had in time past been enmeshed in a report of the sudden abduction of Queen Owobu, the elder sister to Ehizofua Favour Egbedion by unknown persons as her whereabouts still remain unknown till date.
However, concerted efforts made to reach the man at the eye of storm, the father-in-law at the time of filing in this report proved unsuccessful as calls and messages to his mobile contact were neither answered or returned.
