Super Eagles Drop In FIFA Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have suffered a drop in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday.
The Gernot Rohr-led Super Eagles fell one place, from 38th to 39th spot in the global ranking announced by the world football governing body.
The 2013 Africa champions also dropped one place to the 6th spot on the continent.
Egypt, who sit on top in Africa, dropped four places to 24 in the world, followed by Senegal who are static.
One of the biggest moves on the continent came from DR Congo who rose 11 places higher to come 3rd in Africa and 28th in the world, while Tunisia and Cameroon complete the top 5.
On the global scene, Germany capped a sensational week on the international stage by returning to the top of the FIFA World Ranking for the first time since being knocked off the top spot exactly two years ago.
