Sportcliqs App wins top Honour at the 2023 Bold IV Award in Italy
The BOLD Awards IV, an esteemed international event celebrating innovation and breakthroughs in various technology sectors, held its gala dinner to announce the winners of the 2023 awards. The event, organized by Crowdsourcing Week and hosted by H-FARM, took place at H-FARM’s campus near Venice Italy and was attended by individuals from 30 countries.
Over 800 submissions were received, and after a round of public voting and evaluations by judges, 120 nominees were selected across 30 categories. The BOLD Awards recognize top companies, projects, and individuals that drive advancements in crowdsourcing, open innovation, and other technology fields.
Epi Ludvik, CEO of BOLD Awards, and Emil Abirascid, Founder and Editor in Chief of Startupbusiness, hosted the evening. A highlight of the event was a presentation by Stefania Quaini, MD of Angels4Women, who shed light on the gender bias in startup funding and emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion in technological innovation.
The awards ceremony honored the exceptional work of individuals who combine the power of the crowd with expert insights from judges. However, the first award of the night was not part of the standard process. Epi Ludvik surprised his wife, Janice Kwa, with a special award to recognize her invaluable support and inspiration. He also shared a personal story highlighting the importance of appreciating loved ones.
The BOLD Awards IV winners were determined through a combination of public voting and judging panel assessments. FundamentalVR set a precedent by winning three categories – Healthtech, Robotics, and Metaverse. The event also presented Boldest e-Gaming & e-Sports Award to Sportcliqs App, and host of others.
Throughout the night, attendees including serial entrepreneur David Oluwole and other dignitaries enjoyed a four-course dinner with wines provided by Valdo, the official drinks supplier to BOLD Awards. The event offered a unique opportunity for networking and celebrating the success of the winners.
BOLD Awards extends its gratitude to everyone who submitted entries, participated in online voting, served as judges, partnered in various categories, and attended the ceremony. The achievement of the winners is particularly notable due to the high quality of all nominations received during the process.
