The Proprietress of Goodvine Schools, Mrs. Grace Aghulor, said the only means of getting the best from students and staff is through the acknowledgement of their efforts.

She also advised government at various levels to adopt this methods as a means of boosting the morale of those that believe in going extra mile to get the desire results, awake the lazy ones, discouraging corrupt practices and ensured national development.
According to her, “the purpose to have entrenched this routine on the school calendar is to encourage healthy competition among students in and outside the classrooms. It also extends to our teachers in their attempts to bring out the best in their respective classes under their supervision.’’
In his speech, the Chairman of the Speech & Prize Giving Day, Pastor Oladapo Oladoja, said character could not be separated from sound education, he therefore enjoined the students to exhibit positives attitudes wherever they might find themselves. Mrs. Sherifat Adeleye who spoke on ‘’parenting’’ during the Talk Show enjoined parents to assume their roles as parents, noted that the children are the future heritage.
Therefore, the children must be tutored very well. She said, ‘’parents should adopt authoritative parenting style which is the best among other styles of parenting.
If parents are alerted on their roles at homes, the prevalent social vices and corruption will be reduced, which will engender socio-political and economic development.’’ She equally advised that the three religious groups in Nigeria should imbibe the spirit of tolerance.
