I’m Prepared To Serve And Develop Ondo State, Olusola Oke
Olusola Oke, the governorship candidate of the Alliance For Democracy (AD) in Ondo State has reiterated his commitment to rapidly developed the state by bringing in investors if elected the next governor.
Oke made the disclosure to a mammoth crowd on Sunday at Oniparaga in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State during his campaign tour to the community.
He said his government was prepared to turnaround the fortunes of the state if voted into power in the November 26, 2016 governorship election.
Oke spoke through the Chairman, Media and Publicity of his Campaign Organization, Kolawole Olabisi, in a press statement issued to journalists.
The AD governorship candidate said Ondo State should be the top leading state in the country due the high deposit of resources concentrated and untapped in its local areas.
“Ondo State is a state generously loved by God. If we look at the resources available to us, we should be leading and be a shining example to others in Nigeria.
“We have in abundance the largest rich human resources in terms of natural resources, human resources, agriculture resources; whatever resources you can imagine that would help the development of a State, they are all there but we are not doing well.
“I believe that given the opportunity to be the governor of Ondo State, I can start to re-direct the development of the state. And the starting point will be to examine what is on ground.
“I already have the database on what is on ground to utilize what we have to solve the problems confronting us.”
He assured the people that his government would revamped all the moribund industries abandoned by the government and build new ones to generate employment to the youths.
He further explained that Ondo State needs a man who has idea and vision that can translate waste into wealth for the people in the face of the current recession bedeviling the country.
“The myriad of problems confronting Ondo State today, I believe I can confront and reduce the level of poverty. I can bring about the good old days in Ondo State because of my experience.” he assured.
Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dumped their parties to join the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in some of the local communities visited during the tour of the area.
