PPN inaugurates 30 newly Exco in Anambra

The National leadership of Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) has inaugurated thirty Executive members that will pilot the affairs of the party in Anambra State.
The inauguration which took place in Awka, was in preparation for the forthcoming 2019 General Election in the country.
The newly elected executive members are the State Chairman, Sir Afam Fidelis, the state Secretary, Evan Chimdi Chiama, the Treasurer, Mrs. Ebere Anazodo.
Others are the State Vice Chairman North, Ifeanyi Anazodo, the State Vice Chairman Central, Basil Onubeze, the State Vice Chairman South, Fidelis Ezeokoye among other members.
Inaugurating the executives, the National Chairman of PPN, Hon Eyiowuawi Razak said the party had been structured to sweep major political positions in Anambra and at the National level, come 2019 general elections.
Razak explained that the party which was formed in 2010 had occupied political positions at National Assembly within the three months of its formation.
According to him “Leadership does not only depend on the efforts of the executives, but with collaboration of the party members.
“We have to reach out to people to add strength to the party membership. To achieve this, we need absolute friendship and treat all with love to radiate the motto of the party, which is love and equity,” Razak explained.
He commended the State Chairman Fidelis, for his doggeddness and sincerity in piloting the affairs of the party even before the inauguration.
In their separate remarks, the Deputy National Secretary and the National Treasurer, Nze Kelvin Nwosu and Nwonu Sunday respectively, described Anambra as a great State with strong human institution, saying PPN had every facility to take over the government of the state.
The duo while urging the new executives to work harder to keep the status of the party, noted that the establishment of the party in Anambra would give another dimension in the politics of the state.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Afam Fidelis, promised to use his position to win nothing less than 15 positions in the State House of Assembly and the National Assembly in general.
The Chairman said “In as much as we lost in the last governorship election in Anambra State, we will support the present administration to achieve more things for the State till the next governorship election.”
In his vote of thanks, the State Secretary Mr Chimdi Chiama promised to work harmoniously with the chairman and other executives to ensure effective service delivery.
