Police apprehend 4 kidnappers terrorizing Adamawa communities

The police command in Adamawa said they have another breakthrough as four kidnappers were arrested in various locations in the state.
The command public relations officers, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje in a statement said their arrest led to the recovery of N86,000 Cash, three Single Barrel guns, threat letters, Handset, Sim cards, and many exhibits.
He said the Operatives of the Command attached to Gombi Division on the 9th 4,2021 received a Complaint from a good samaritan, a resident of Wuro Garba and Lugga Villages of Hong Local government area, that they received separate letters threatening them to pay a Million Naira each or risk been kidnap.
He revealed that the command swung into Investigation that later led to the arrest of Adoneja Dauda, 30years, a resident of Hubbare Village, Maiha Local Government as a prime suspect that sent threatening letters to extort the innocents.
According to him prior to Dauda’s arrest, the suspect, extorted the sum of 150,000 from One Alhaji Dauda Hassan a resident of Barkaji Village, Hong Local government with intimidation to Kidnap him, the command Similarly recorded another success by apprehending; Musa Saidu 26 years, Manu Hussein 25years and Hammadu Bello, 22years all residents of Garwayel Village, Hong, Hong Local government.
“The suspects sometimes in the month of March 2021 kidnaped Alhaji Yahaya BUBA, Alhaji Sure, and Alhaji Muhammed Bello all of Konto Village, Gombi local government.
“The Commissioner of police *Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, psc, Commended Officers and Men of Gombi Division for reclaiming the public space and making it difficult for criminals to escape arrest.
“Meanwhile, as part of efforts at tackling Criminal activities and other related offences the CP, working in concert to deepen intelligence and strengthen security in the State, directed the suspects be arraigned in court on completion of investigations.” The statement read.
