Peace Utd lift Oracle U-15 Cup
There was a carnival-like atmosphere on Sunday at the legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos as the 8th final of the Oracle Sports and Entertainment Under 15 Cup was decided. Peace United FC defeated Sunshine FC 4-3 penalties after scores stood goalless at regulation time.
Coach Peace Okoh and his lads celebrated after they won the title.
Earlier on in the third place game, Headliners F.C defeated RAF F.C 6-1.
Before presenting trophies and cash prizes, sponsor of the Oracle sports and Entertainment Under -15 cup, Don Sosa Onwuka expressed gratitude to the players and other stakeholders that made the tournament a huge success.
He particularly praised several Nollywood stars and upcoming music stars that created a carnival-like atmosphere before, during and after the thrilling Oracle Cup final.
While announcing that the U-23 version of the Oracle Cup would flag at the National Stadium Lagos in two weeks time, Onwuka thanked the Oracle band, Tonia, FKAY Bozz, Zanga Prince, Baba De Baba, Andy Great, Gee A –Saads and others who added colour to the final with their scintillating live music and jokes.
