PDP Supporter Hospitalized After Violent Attack In Benin

A staunch supporter of the youth wing of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) Job Asazobor has reportedly been hospitalized at an undisclosed health facility after he sustained severe injuries from a violent mob attack by political thugs of the opposition party, All Progressive Congress (APC) on August 8th 2024.
Recall that on July 15th 2023, Job Asazobor was earlier attacked by suspected political thugs as he was returning from a ward meeting in his community.
On July 15th 2023, the suspected political thugs, it was gathered, laid ambush for Job Asazobor and came out from a waiting vehicle before attacking their target with machetes and battle-axe .
Job Asazobor was said to have sustained bodily injuries during the violent attack as the thugs however told him to call on members of his PDP party to save and rescue him from the violent attack as violently manhandled.
Meanwhile, the orchestrated attacks on Job Asazobor were said to have been masterminded by the opposition party who claimed that the PDP, whose youth-wing was led by Job Asazobor, launched a scathing campaign of calumny against the manifesto of the APC as the opposition party was daily losing followership and support base to the PDP.
Ahead of the 2024 gubernatorial election in Edo State, Job Asazobor was again brutally attacked by political thugs of the APC shortly after departing from a campaign rally for the candidacy of Dr.Asuen Ighodalo of the PDP in Benin City.
Information made available stated that Job Asazobor was ruthlessly manhandled and tortured by the thugs who attacked him with dangerous weapons leading to him spraining his ankle.
It was further gathered that Job Asazobor was however taken to an undisclosed health facility where he was receiving urgent medical attention for injuries sustained during the violent attack on his life
Meanwhile, efforts to speak with members of his family to obtain information on his health condition and whereabouts proved unsuccessful as he was said to have been responding to treatment by one of his relatives who simply identified himself as Edwin.
