PDP CRISIS: SHERIFF EXPRESSES READINESS FOR TALKS WITH MAKARFI

The bid to return the Peoples Democratic Party to the original owners the people and stop impunity is a move that must be completed for the party to return to its lost Glory. Faction National chairman of the party, Ali Modu-Sheriff, says he is enthusiastic and ready for the party to return to the original owners while also disclosing that he is ready for talks with the Ahmed Makarfi led Interim Management Committee of the party.

While welcoming a group of members of the Peoples Democratic Party from the Federal Capital Territory, factional National Chairman of the party says he is ready for talks at all times to achieve the desired unity within the party. He adds that it’s not a do or die affairs for him. He discloses that it is the failure of talks that has led to the issues affecting the party to remain In Court. He assures that the National working committee will react to the rivers re-run elections In due course after receipt of the report of its monitoring committee.

The group comprises of grassroots supporters and members of the PDP in Abuja who the chairman says are the original owners of the party
