Ondo APC leaders pass vote of confidence on Akeredolu

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state have passed a vote of confidence on the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The leaders who converged on the Alagbaka’s Government House, Akure, stated that the remarkable achievements by the governor in the area of infrastructural development, industrialization as well as workers’ welfare among others is the reason for their continued support for the governor.

The APC leaders include, Senator Titus Olupitan, former Finance Commissioner, Segun Ojo, former Commissioner for Information, Prince Olu Adegboro, South West Chairman of the APC, Pastor Bankole Oluwajana

Others are, member of the APC Board of Trustee (BOT), Chief Jamiu Ekungba, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, House of Representatives member, Rep. Kolawole Babatunde, Director General of the Technical Aid Corps, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi, Pat Kelly among other notable leaders.

According to Ekungba and the APC South West chairman, Oluwajana, Akeredolu has made the next journey of the party easy. They described the governor as a sellable candidate who has touched the lives of the people of the state.

They particularly hailed the governor for achieving so much within the space of two years without any loan, adding that the infrastructural development currently going on across the 18 local government areas of the state is unprecedented.

On his own part, Osunyikanmi said the governor has shown that he has great vision for the state, especially on road construction and reconstruction of public primary schools.

Meanwhile, the state Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin has urged members of the party to be united and speak with one voice ahead of future elections in the state.

Governor Akeredolu thanked leaders of the party for the confidence reposed in him, declaring that more dividends of good governance will be enjoyed by the people of the state.
